Poem October 4, 2021 Basa Sandrine

I’m alone in my room and as the silence sinks in
my breathing suddenly tightens and the walls that surrounds me get much closer and closer So I scream as loud as I can, but no one is there, no one is listening While the walls crashes me and my suffocation is certain, In that exact moment I realize how lonely I am
I then give in And let go
And that was the end of me
